What a treat to share a presentation for the International Society of Equitation Science this week!
My topic : how I put the science of equine research , evidence-based and ethical horse training, into practice in my every day work – coaching riders, teaching horses and getting them ready for the ring – whatever ring they’re prepping for – western, hunter, dressage or over obstacles.
So what’s this society for Equitation Science?
Researchers from universities all over the world, vets, practitioners and students. All dedicated to improving horse training, competition and handling using an evidence-based, systematic and ethical approach.
Equitation Science explains why horses behave as they do. It’s based on the scientific principles of how horses behave, learn and move with horse welfare as the top priority.
